Quaker Oatmeal. That’s what I had for breakfast yesterday & Saturday! I haven’t have Quaker Oatmeal in ages but it sounded sooooooo good! Both mornings were really cold – despite the fact that it’s mid-April & we’re in California, so I figured some nice steaming hot Quaker Oatmeal would really hit the spot. And I was right! Although it wasn’t enough to totally erase the chill from my bones, it tasted delicious. I love that they make the Quaker Oatmeal with flavors. My favorite is Quaker Oatmeal with cinnamon.
Honey bunny & Pumpkin both asked me, “what does Quaker oatmeal taste like?” I offered them a sample but they declined. I have no idea why. Ha! More for me!
Oh, I forgot, Quaker (or PepsiCo who owns the brand) has the 100% Natural Granola, Oats, Honey & Raisins cold cereal. I used to eat this cereal for breakfast everyday. Now that I’m watching the fat, carbs, & calories, I don’t eat this for breakfast everyday! But that’s all right… I do still enjoy my Quaker Oatmeal or Quaker Granola, Oats, Honey & Raisins cereal on occasion.
Wait! Must mention the earth-Quakes before I let you leave… living in California for my entire life -really, I’m a native, although only a 1st generation Californian- enduring an earth-Quake is second nature. Unless of course we’re talking about a Quake of 7.0 or higher, then even I get rattled!
Enough for now,
Ciao

I live in California too and it has been cold the last few days. The heater is on and I’m wearing a sweatshirt. I hate it too.
I’ve lived in California since 1969 and I’m not a fan of earthquakes. They are indeed frightening. The little ones are okay, but you are right…over 7 and it’s not funny at all. I hope you had a great Manic Monday.
Living through last week’s quake was enough for me!
I much prefer Quaker oatmeal!
Thanks for participating in Manic Mondays!
