Push and pull. That is the first thing that popped into my head when I read that today’s MM word was pull. Life is a bit of push and pull, isn’t?
I remember pulling Honey bunny in the little red wagon she had when she was 2 or 3 yrs old. Now on some mornings I have to pull her out of bed to get ready for school! Not that often, but it does happen every now and again. Yesterday I had to pull her out of my bed after she took a 2 hr nap! This is quite an unusual occurance but you see we went for a 3 mile walk and when we got back she was exhausted. Thereby leading to the two hour nap & necessitating my pulling her out of bed.
Prior to our walk, the gremlins played on the tree swing in our backyard. They yelled, “push us Mom!” So I pulled them as far back as I could and ran forward pushing them as high as I could before letting them swing back again. Their screams of terror/joy/excitement could probably be heard in the next town over. Such fun!
